1998: Screening of "Road To Return" at UCLA -- a documentary film by Leslie Neale & John Densmore

 November 7

1968: The Doors played at Phoenix Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona

1997: Ray & Michael McClure performed at L.A. County Museum of Art in Los Angeles, California

2006: release date of "The Doors By The Doors" coffee table book

 November 8

1967: Bruce Morrow's Music Power T.V. special broadcast on ABC, showing The Doors performing Light My Fire at Denver University's Student Union on September 29th

2006: The launch of the 40th anniversary celebration of The Doors, starting with a celebration on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.  A ceremony bestowed landmark status on the Whisky A Go Go by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum.  Band members were at three separate locations to meet fans and sign copies of "The Doors By The Doors" book, released the prior day.  John led a performance at Book Soup. Ray was at the Cat Club hosting a preview of the Doors exhibit at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland opening May 2007.  Robby hosted a listening party at the Whisky.  All 3 band members signed books and met with fans throughout the evening.   more info
