"Light My Fire" hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100

1967:  July 22

The Doors performed on American Bandstand, recorded at ABC Studios, Hollywood, California

1968:  July 20

The Doors played at Honolulu International Civic Arena, Honolulu, Hawaii.  This show was filmed for 'Feast Of Friends'

1969:  July 21 - 22

The Doors played at Aquarius Theater in Hollywood, California.   Both shows were recorded for "Absolutely Live"

1971:  July 22

Less than three weeks after Jim's death, The Doors were awarded a gold album for "L.A. Woman"

1972:  July 21

The Doors played at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois.  This was the opening night of their final tour.

2000:  July 23

John Densmore & Tribal Jazz performed at L.A. Free Festival in Santa Monica, California

2003:  July 25

The Doors of the 21st Century played Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa, California

2003:  July 26

The Doors of the 21st Century played Anselmo Valencia Tori Amphitheater in Tucson, Arizona
