1943:  December 8 

James Douglas Morrison born Melbourne, Florida

 

1967:  December 9

The Doors played New Haven Arena in New Haven, Connecticut.  After being maced backstage before the show, Jim began to tell the story onstage during the concert.  He was hauled offstage by the police and charged with breach of the peace and resisting arrest.

 

1970:  December 11

The Doors played State Fair Music Hall in Dallas, Texas

 

1971:  December 8

Jim's poetry recording session at Village Recorders Studios, L.A.

 

1978:  December 8 

Palais Club, Paris -  impromptu 'live' reunion during American Prayer promo tour

 

1991:  December 7 

Robby did an autograph signing appearance at the KLSX Rock Expo in Los Angeles, California

 

1993:  December 8 

Robby played with The Soft Parade in Paris, France during Jim's 50th birthday celebration

 

2002:  December 8

The (21st Century) Doors were scheduled to play 'Rain In The Desert'  at Palms Resort Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada  --  Stewart Copeland broke his arm, and the show was postponed to January 19, 2003

 

2003:  December 6 & 7

The Doors of the 21st Century played Pavilhao Atlantico in Lisbon, Portugal

 

2003:  December 8

The Doors of the 21st Century played an unannounced show at La Scene in Paris, France as part of the Jim Morrison 60th birthday celebration  (read about it)

 

2003:  December 9

The Doors of the 21st Century played Le Zenith in Paris, France as part of the Jim Morrison 60th birthday celebration  (read about it)

 

2003:  December 11

The Doors of the 21st Century played Wembley Arena in London, England  (read about it)
