1967:  The Doors played Santa Monica Civic Center in Santa Monica, California

1971:  Jim Morrison was found dead in a bathtub in his apartment in Paris, France

1974:  Opening night of the "Jim Morrison Memorial Disappearance Party" at the Whisky in Hollywood, California.  On this night, Ray Manzarek teamed up with Iggy Pop onstage for performances of 'Back Door Man',  'L.A. Woman', and 'Maggie M'Gill.'

1981:  Ray, Robby, and John visited Pere Lachaise and led fans in a graveside tribute

1991:  Throngs of fans were kept out of Pere Lachaise and eventually rioted

 July 4

1969:  The Doors' "Feast Of Friends" film was shown at the Willingdon Juvenile Detention Home For Girls in Vancouver, Canada

2004:  The Doors of the 21st Century played Loopfest at Tweeter Center in Chicago, Illinois

 July 5

1967:  The Doors played the Lowell High School Auditorium in La Habra, California

1968:  The Doors performed at the Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood, California

1971:  Bill Siddons called Pamela in Paris regarding rumors of Jim's death

 July 6

1968:  The Doors played a last-minute unadvertised benefit performance at Kaleidoscope in Hollywood, California

1987:  The Doors Live At The Hollywood Bowl video release, was celebrated with a private preview party held at the Hollywood Bowl Restaurant in Hollywood

2001:  John Densmore participated in a poetry reading program at Beyond Baroque in Venice, California

 July 7

1971:  Jim Morrison was buried at Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France

1998:  Ray Manzarek did a book signing appearance at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Santa Monica, California to promote "Light My Fire - My Life With The Doors"

2004:  The Doors of the 21st Century played Vorst Nationaal in Brussels, Belgium

 July 8

1967:  The Doors played Balboa Stadium Horseshoe in San Diego, California

1971:  Pamela Courson and Bill Siddons returned to Los Angeles

1995:  John Densmore appeared as part of a program at the Met Theater in Hollywood, California.  During his performance, he was joined by Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger and they performed several songs together.

2004:  The Doors of the 21st Century played Bospop Festival in Weert, Holland
