A new, limited-edition (2,500 copies) Doors box-set titled Love / Death / Travel is scheduled to be available from Rhino Handmade sometime in late November.   Wrapped in a faux lizard-skin slipcase, each one of the three-CD-plus-DVD packages features a catalog-spanning 54 songs and four previously unseen pictures from noted shutterbug Joel Brodsky's famous '67 photo session.

The DVD sports four minutes of non-synched, vintage performance footage, as well as remixes of "L.A. Woman" and "Roadhouse Blues" by Paul Oakenfold and Crystal Method, respectively.

Longtime Doors engineer/producer Bruce Botnick recently completed the task of remixing the Doors' recorded legacy into 5.1 surround sound, and three examples of this - "Hello, I Love You," "Unknown Soldier" and "Riders On The Storm" - are included here as well.   A fourth 5.1 remix ("Break On Through" by BT) completes the DVD portion of the set.
